Unlike the previous Donkey Kong Land, which has unique levels and bosses, Donkey Kong Land 2 features most of the same levels and bosses from the SNES game Donkey Kong Country 2, with adjustments made to suit the Game Boy’s hardware limitations. Notable omissions include Kudgel’s Kontest, Haunted Hall, and Castle Crush, the latter two being replaced with Krazy Koaster and Dungeon Danger.
