FAQ

My TV doesn't have the right input ports for my new console?

If your TV is new and only has an HDMI input, you might need an HDMI converter, this allows you to plug component cables (Red, Yellow & White) into the converter and plug an HDMI out of the converter and into your TV.

If you are trying to hook up an Atari or a console that has an RF output, you will need a Coxal Converter that will screw into the antenna port on your TV, and you will be able to plug your console output into that converter.

My new cartridge game won't show up?

If you have purchased a cartridge game and when you put it in the console, the game will not show up, then the cartridge might need an extra clean. To clean the cartridge, you will need Q Tips and Isopropyl alcohol (Hand Sanitizer will not work). First you will want to put the alcohol on the Q Tips, then you will want to use the Q Tips to scrub the connectors on the cartridge. As you are using alcohol this will not cause any functionality issues. After you have scrubbed the cartridge and there is little remaining alcohol on the game pins, you will want to insert the cartridge into the console a few times. This will help to clean the connector pins on the console. After this process is complete, the game should be functional.

I cannot get my Wii controller to work on my console?

If you are having trouble using your Wii or WiiU controller on your console, this is most likely an issue with the sync between your controller and the console. If you are syncing a Wii controller to your Wii console, you will need to press the red button on the controller and the console at the same time. This red button can be found under the battery back on the Wii controller, and under the memory card door on the front of your Wii console. Once you have pressed both of these buttons, the controller should sync and work perfectly. You will know this has happened when the Wii controller lights up at the bottom front of the controller in one of the squares.

If you are connecting a Wii/WiiU controller to your WiiU console, you are most likely having an issue with the sync. To sync your controller to your console, you will need to press the red button on the controller and the console at the same time. To locate the red button on the Wii controller, you will need to look under the battery back on the back of the controller. To locate this red button on your WiiU Gamepad, you will need to look on the back of the WiiU Gamepad, it will be located below the battery back. To locate this button on your WiiU Pro Controller, you will need to look on the back of the controller located below the battery back. To locate this red button on the console, you will need to look on the front of the console, below the disc drive. Once you have pressed both of these buttons, the controller should sync and work perfectly.

My NES Light Guns will not work with my Duck Hunt game?

To play the game Duck Hunt, you need the NES Light Guns that come in grey or orange. These guns only work on CRT (Tube) TV's. If you are trying to use these guns on any flatscreen TV, the pixels are too small and it will not work. If you are a parent and you want to look super cool to your kids, you can shoot the Light Gun at a white piece of paper during gameplay and you will hit the target every time.
